Our Welding Requirements

AVAILABILITY

Our full-time staff is available on call or on a contractual basis, with all the necessary equipment to do the job right the first time.

CERTIFICATIONS

All welders are certified by a third-party AWS QC1 Certified Welding Inspector. We have a continuous program of training and certification to meet or exceed the requirements deemed necessary by AWS and ASME standards.

EMPLOYMENT

All welders are required to be full-time employees of Petro Mechanical Services. We do not staff any 1099 contract employees.

INSURANCE

Every employee is completely covered by our company provided Worker’s Compensation insurance so that you never have to worry about added liability.

SAFETY TRAINING

All welders are company-specific safety trained through PEC/Safeland. All welders are also drug tested and entered into a random drug testing pool every quarter.

RATINGS

Our certification program and experience rating ensures that every welder we provide has the tools and training necessary to complete your job in a safe, efficient manner.

PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT

All welders are in possession of proper Personal Protective Equipment anytime they are dispatched.

JOB SAFETY ANALYSIS

All welders complete JSA’s and safe work permits for every job completed including hot work.
